Hello and welcome to yet another year, We know that you will all be eager to get started in your garden and want to assure you that we have been busy planting lots of beautiful perennial, so hopefully you ll have lots of new varieties to choose from as well as the usual best sellers.

We stay open 7 days until the end of the season which is usually the end of July or early August depending on the weather!!

We opened on Monday 2nd March, 10am - 4pm Monday - Sunday

New Season 2025

Well hopefully you have all survived the winter and are now gearing up ready to start another wonderful year of gardening. We have been busy growing lots of Perennials and started planting our basket and container plants last week. We are now open Mon - Sat 10am - 4pm and once April is here we will be open 7 days a week, so lots of opportunities to stock up on plants for your garden or patio.

Delivery Service Ending

NEWS - DELIVERY IS ENDING

As our community starts its return to some form of new normal post pandemic, so are we. This means that as of 2nd April 2022 our delivery service will finish as we return to business as usual at the nursery.

Even though our delivery service is ending the great news is we are now open 7 days a week 10am - 4pm so please come down and see us - we have so many new products to show you!

Our website will still have information regarding our plants and garden accessories and we’ll be posting some tips and tricks along the way. And we will of cause be keeping our social media platforms up to date.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing customers - both new and existing for your support over the last 2 years and we look forward to seeing you all down at the nursery.

If you are elderly or in a vulnerable category and unable to visit please get in touch with us and we may still be able to deliver if you are local to Knutsford.

Spring 2022 Update

We are now open 7 days Monday - Sunday 10am - 4pm Until the end of June.

We are now in full swing, planting all your lovely basket and container plants, Surfinia, Diascia, Verbena and Bacopa just to name a few. We have already planted several batches of Perennials like Lupins, Delphiniums and Digitalis etc. To be able to view our full range of plants, we highly recommend that you visit us at the nursery, especially now that were open 7 Days..

Online Stock

We thought we’d give a little update on our stock availability on our online shop.

Our online shop is only a small selection of what we actually have available at our nursery. We pride ourselves on providing a little variety and choice on our online shop for those who may be unable to reach us at the nursery.

However, for those wanting vast variety and the ability to choose their own mixes from our full selection of perennials, basket and container plants and bedding we would always recommend popping over to our nursery for a visit. You’ll get the opportunity to meet one of the team here at T&S and browse at your leisure.

We grow in batches so our stock often fluctuates throughout the season so be sure to visit us at different times to get different choice.

March Stock Update

We currently have the following available for purchase at the nursery or through our online shop:

Spring Bedding (pansies, viola’s, bellis daisy, wall flowers, polyanthus, prim roses, ivies etc)

Early Perennials and Alpines - there is a small selection available now but there will be a vast selection available over the coming weeks once the weather turns.

What a rollercoaster 2020 turned out to be! We would like to send out a heart felt thank you to all of our amazing customers (new and existing) for their support throughout the seasons last year. We really could not have got through the year without you all and to see how much our plants brought a little bit of cheer through those tough times really does mean the absolute world to us.

So after a much needed break, we are back, ready to do it all over again. We’re in the process of updating our online shop with our stock details so keep an eye out. We have some really exciting new additions this year which we are certain you’re going to love. Watch this space!

Temporary Road Closure - Sudlow Lane

Dear customers,

You may have noticed the road closure press about Sudlow lane entrance off Northwich Road. This road closure was due from the 5th October and to open March 2021. The road is still actually open with no closure signs displayed yet so access is still fine and we don’t know yet when the closure will happen.

We are working with Redrow Homes, Chandos Civils and Cheshire East Highways to ensure this proposed closure does not neglect the needs and critical requirements of our local business and we will keep our customers up to date with our progress.

Once the road is closed the diversion route to take to our nursery is off Pinfold Lane, via Plumley Moor Road. This can be accessed from either the A556 or B5081 (highway diversion signs will be in place). Our nursery is sign posted T&S Riley.

We also have our delivery service which will remain in operation.

Autumn Season is Here!

It’s a new season here at T&S and we’ve been busy over the last month preparing for one of our favourite times of year - the Autumn! This season offers stunning, natural beauty where the trees slowly start to turn the most beautiful array of colours and the weather has that little nip in the air during the evenings but we usually get lucky with a bit of warm weather during the days of September, and dry days during October before the frosts return in early November.

Now is the perfect time to plan your winter garden and get those plants in now in warm soil to get them nice and established. This will give you every opportunity to keep those flowers going long in to Spring next year.

STOCK UPDATE

As we gear up for the next stage of the summer season, our summer basket and container plants are now largely sold out and have been removed from our online shop - but rest assured all will be returning next year. Non Stop and Illumination Begonias, Geraniums and 6-pack Bedding are still available to purchase whilst stocks last.

We also have a large selection of ready made hanging baskets and containers up for sale for those who still want to add instant colour to gardens.

We are now also heading into the summer perennial season, with a vast selection of perennials on offer that will give a lovely mix of height, colour, scent, density and ground cover that will come back year on year. The majority of our add on items such as compost, moss, canes, feed, insecticides etc are still available in our deals and add on shop.

CLICK AND COLLECT NOW AVAILABLE

We’re delighted to announce that after a successful trial period our Click and Collect service is now fully available to all of our customers. Please find our full range of delivery and click and collect details here:

Our Click and Collect service will appear as an option at checkout alongside our standard free, local delivery option. Please select the click and collect option if you wish to collect from our nursery and choose from the drop down list of collection times and select a date. If you wish to continue with delivery please leave the date blank, select the first option from the drop down menu “No, I live within 10 miles of Knutsford and want delivery” and confirm you will comply with social distancing - this will advance you to the payment page.

Please note if you are a Click and Collect customer, you must stick within your designated collection time/date and also observe the UK Governments social distance guidance of 2M.

BUSINESS UPDATE

🌺 BUSINESS UPDATE 🌺

We'd just like to reassure everyone that we are still delivering. We are still here for everyone in our community and our plants and other gardening products are still fully accessible on our online shop for free delivery within a 10-mile radius of Knutsford.

We are in the process of making arrangements to open our gates to the public once again but this won’t be available until we have implemented planned changes to ensure the safety of our customers and everyone at T&S Riley. Even when we do open our gates again our delivery service will still be fully operational and available so please know we will always be here for those who need us.

In the meantime, we’d like to again thank everyone for their continued support, as always if you have any specific enquiries please feel free to get in touch.

COVID 19 UPDATE

We are now operating a delivery service within a 10 mile radius of Knutsford.

Our carefully selected selection boxes contain a variety of plants to suit each individual gardener, bedding, Alpines, Perennials and we are looking to add ‘grow your own’ produce in the coming weeks.

New Developments!!

What a season!!

Thank you to all our returning and new customers for visiting us this season! we have a few Bizzie Lizzies and Begonias left and lots of perennials and Annuals as well as a few planted tubs and plastic small baskets to keep you going so dont be stranger! Violas also ready to go and were into planting our latesummer/Autumn stock now too.

Many of our returning customers would have noticed the 3 new new tunnels in situe this year, however our new addition will be another small greenhouse which is currently being built up near our number 4 greenhouse....watch this space!

Week 18

Now's the time to think about basket plants. Bedding, patio container plants, perennials you name it we have it! 

Lots more varieties this year. Tomatoes, geraniums too.

Dont forget to look out for our new variety trailing petunias.....Banana Candy, Mango Peach, Blueberry mint and Stawberry Vein to name a few.

Busy busy busy!!!

That big ball of fire in the sky graced us with its presence today and with it the start of our busy season!

As quick as we are selling, we are replacing with the next batch! Begonias are now ready, Mimulus has been moved outside and Pansies are in full colour.

Basket Plants are colouring up nicely and we are keeping Tunnel 3 full with these ready for you to buy.

Perennials can be found outside and in tunnel 2, and spring bedding also on the outside benches.

Week 15

Week 15 has almost been and gone!

We received our biggest order this week and a huge compost delivery too. You'll notice a few changes at the nursery now as all the greenhouses contain all our Summer stock, as we've moved all our Spring stock Pansies, Violas etc onto the outside benches or in Tunnels 1 & 3.

Fingers crossed the Sun stays with us! Our gallery has been updated with stock coming into colour.
